Dr. Ravi Bhalla, M.D., FACR
Dr. Bhalla is a rheumatologist who has practiced in Arizona since 1994. He helped found Valley Arthritis Care and has been instrumental in it's growth. He earned his Rheumatology Training from the University of Illinois. Dr. Bhalla is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He has been the recipient of multiple honors and awards during his career. His experience and compassion towards patients has led him to be nominated many times for the "Best Doctors" in Phoenix Magazine. Dr. Bhalla has spoken extensively to the public about all aspects of arthritis. His dedication to teaching is ongoing, with affiliations to Midwestern University. His clinical interests include treatment of various autoimmune connective tissue diseases and difficult cases with soft tissue rheumatism.
Brady Nelson, PA
Brady Nelson is a Physician Assistant that has enjoyed working at Valley Arthritis Care since 2002. Originally from Michigan, he moved to Arizona at age 22 to finish his undergraduate degree in Biology. Brady completed Midwestern University's Physician Assistant program and earned a Masters Degree in Bioethics. Brady is married with identical twin girls and has a 15 year old Bichon Frise. He describes himself as a Christian man that loves outdoor activites. He has run three marathons and has recently taken to skiing.
Iain Black, PA
Iain Black received his undergraduate degree in English at Arizona State University. He then went on to earn his Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. Before joining Valley Arthritis Care in 2015, Iain worked as a physician assistant in radiation oncology. He is married and enjoys spending most of his free time in Prescott, Arizona.
Christina Foster, PA
Christina Foster graduated with a BA in Biology and Chemistry from University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 1997. She then received her her BS in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College in Bayshore, NY in 2002. Christina joined Valley Arthritis Care in August 2016. She specialized in cardiology as a physician assistant while working in a hospital in New York, until she moved to Arizona in 2006. She continued to specialize in cardiology until 2013 when she took time off to spend with her children. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she worked for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Christina is orignally from Long Island, NY. She is married with two children whom she enjoys to spend her time with hiking and camping.
